Put your dancing shoes on and rock as the Ferry takes the party off dry land and onto beautiful Delaware Bay!
On Friday, July 3, the Ferry will cruise the Delaware Bay for a fun evening of music, food, and drinks with Delaware’s premier rock ‘n roll party band, Glass Onion.

This Annual Events Sells Out Quickly!
Get a front-row seat and a bay view to enjoy this year’s fireworks celebration aboard the Cape May – Lewes Ferry! The Cape May-Lewes Ferry offers a fantastic fireworks cruise to celebrate Independence Day this year.
This special event cruise departs the Lewes Terminal on July 3. The tickets for the cruise are $65 for adults and $40 for children under the age of 12. Due to limited capacity and the history of the event selling out, we recommend making reservations early.
PLEASE NOTE: This cruise departs from and returns to the Lewes Terminal and does not dock in Cape May.
Glass Onion has been playing rock ‘n roll dance music since 2000 at venues throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and is sure to get “the Ferry rockin’!”
Additional entertainment will be provided by Just Kidding Around Entertainment.
Tickets are only available via Eventbrite. Please note, we have a no refund policy.
When:
Friday, July 3, 2026:
- Check-in begins at 5:30 PM.
- Boarding starts at 6:45 PM.
- Ferry departs Lewes Ferry Terminal at 7:15 PM and returns to the dock between 10:45 and 11:00 PM.
Cost: $65 per person for adults and $40 per person for children under 12. No discounts are offered or accepted for this special event cruise. This event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation. Please note, as much as we LOVE our Furry friends, they will NOT be welcome aboard this cruise for their safety and security.
What do you get with your ticket purchase? Access to this special event cruise as a foot passenger. Onboard entertainment is included with all ticket purchases.
Food & Beverages will be available for purchase onboard the Ferry. No outside beverages of any kind will be allowed on board. Coolers are not permitted on board for this cruise. This special event cruise is NOT a BYOB event.
Handicap accessibility is via the terminal elevator or dockside elevator, once onboard via the elevator from the passenger deck to the upper deck. Glass Onion will perform on Deck 3. DJ will entertain inside on Deck 2.
Guests will be permitted to bring lawn chairs on board.
